How to setup a Welcome automation for new sign-ups
A standard welcome email for any customer that signs up to your loyalty program, newsletter or email notifications. This article will take you through setting up the automation. If you're interested in learning more about automation basics, click here.
This automation requires a webform to trigger. If you haven't created a webform yet, please read our Form basics.
- Once logged in to your account, select the + button and choose Create an automation
- Select Start next to Welcome new subscribers
- Optional: By default this automation will trigger on any webform submitted. To specify which webform it should trigger on, hover over Webform submitted and click the pencil icon.
- Hover over Email and click the pencil icon.
- Fill in the Subject, From email and From name
- Leave Reply to as blank, Frequency to Always send and make sure Ignore Opt-out status is unchecked.
- Select an existing template or build one yourself. Save the template to a new campaign folder called 'Welcome Automations'.
